“Efficiency and Corporate Competitiveness in the Digital Age: The Focus of the Seminar on Quality Control Management in Industry 4.0”
The efficiency and competitiveness of companies can achieve significant improvements through optimal quality control management, fully leveraging the available digitalization tools. In this context, innovation, sustainability, and Industry 4.0 are key drivers of growth. These topics were the focus of the seminar “Quality Control Management in Industry 4.0 and Digital Transition,” an event organized in collaboration with the Italian Quality Culture Association (Aicq), held at the General Confederation of Italian Industry Catania headquarters.
The seminar was opened by the President of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Committee of General Confederation of Italian Industry Catania, Monica Luca, the Vice President of the Hi-Tech and ICT section, Alfredo Cavallaro, and the Vice President of Aicq Sicily, Giusy Virone, who emphasized the strategic importance of technological transformation and the urgent need to invest in human capital training.
During the seminar, technical presentations were provided, illustrating the incentives and benefits related to Industry 4.0. These presentations were delivered by industry experts such as Giuseppe Sabatino (Aicq Sicily), Angelo Cavallaro (Ac2), and Marco Vitale (Vitale Associati). In addition, Ernesto Nudo (Gis Siracusa) and Giuseppe Garilli (Fire Protection Systems) shared practical insights, offering concrete examples of how digitalization can be effectively applied in business processes.
